We took some time to chat with the awesome Doug Hamilton from Privateer Press about the work he's been doing on the new sculpts for MK III of Warmachine & Hordes.
As a bonus to those of you on Beasts of War we also have some images of the sculpts below in their component parts. Check back over the weekend to see them assembled and (maybe) painted...

I read the Cryx Warcaster short story and it is amazing, specially because it has a lot of Pistol Wraiths in it! My favorite solo 😀 , please make a rework of it… it would be amazing to have a 3-5 unit of pistol wraith, i don’t care if it cost 20 pts, there would be a complete nightmare. Also i hope that Agathia’s tier list would have something for Pistol Wraiths :3. Nice to see a little preview of the new casters. I wonder what these models are cast in? If its that same resin/plastic they we using before or something new.
Very cool, love the Everblight model, great detail. Looking forward to getting the starter set for them.
One of the biggest changes I can see from these sculpts compared to the earlier plastics is that the sculptors are now working with pvc molds and engineering in mind rather than against it.
If that leads to fewer mould lines going over rivets, I’m all for it!
I think bringing new casters to the game is always good. Not only with moving the story along but also with creating new army lists and playstyles within the factions.
I cannot wait to pick up the Trollbloods starter. The warlock looks fantastic.
Well, just bit the bullet and pre-ordered the two-player Hordes box to get started in the game. Now to figure out what Warmachine starter I want….maybe Menoth….
I love how they are color-coded. I can hardly wait for Bane Witch Agathia =)

I’m absolutely loving all of the new waracsters and warlocks. Malekus looks absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to get my hands on him. I’ll be following this liveblog quite closely. Well, as closely as I can. I’m on the west coast of the USA, so time zones matter. :p
