We take a look at some of the Studio Miniatures that Dave bought in from Hawk. They are rather special and rarely get to the tabletop so maybe, just maybe, they will enjoy a game or two soon.

for me its got to be dark sea grey for the ucm with an accent colour to denote ship type, as for my PHR well im worse than Justin i like the dyno rod orange you see on their vans. although i do have some ideas for pearlescent colours to catch the light and change colour. one thing is for certain mine will be unusual
I really like the spacestations, the colours work so well.

The PHR – I may tweak the studio theme just a tad but I like it.
Scourge – Green and gribbley with some variations to help distinguish classes of ship perhaps
UCM – Studio style near enough what I would like to achieve
Shaltari – some of the darker schemes I have seen in the Facebook community really appeal to me – the space hedgehogs are not cuddley at all
I keep saying the same thing, but the painting on those models is just absolutely amazing, can we have a full paint tutorial!!
Amazing models. Quite fond of the silver one with just a hint of blue.
I love those studio schemes, it’s a pity I couldn’t pull any of them off!
Great job on those ships , need / want a tutorial for painting those up would be great .

love the paint schemes really love a in depth parts to painted on these has i have a airbrush but got to admit somewhat nervous about messing up my minis by using it ,
UCM: I’m going to try to base mine off of Mass Effect. So cream central hulls, black engines and the rest. Red stripes
Scourge: I’ve got a “pastel purple” thing going on to match my DZC Scourge force.
PHR: I haven’t really decided yet. I’m kinda worried I’m going to turn them into Christmas Trees. The main hull/armour colour is going to be Snot Green, then black for guns, with drybrushed silver. Then red for the accents, I think.
They need to release painting guide videos like they did for DzC

Ah that answers the question I was going to ask. And now I think of it, of course Hawk would spin up some cool looking scenario pieces!
Oh for an airbrush………these models are absolutely stunning.
I own a cheapish one from eBay. It does an alright job. Want to justify one of the professional ones though
