Stopping Off With The SmogCon Gamers

We're stopping off with some of the gamers and doing a little bit of a walk around to talk to the different competitors as they get stuck into their events and open gaming opportunities.

As you can see they are delving right into stuff and enjoying the scenarios outlined in the SmogCon booklet which all attendees have with them.

Yay! I love meeting the gamers, especially seeing people I met last year! I’m green with jealousy!
I appreciate many players seem to be figuring it out as they go xD

Good to hear they only had to do a few changed to the rules.

Just spotted a guy in the background who I see walking around my town every now and then… This live blog has been bloody weird for me so far.

System 2 vs 3 seems quite similar according to the opponents.

Nice to see a lot of positives towards Mark III. I like it but in a corner of the internet I occassionally visit, they rant about it incessantly. Also what a stirling and fun group players would cheerfully play any of them anytime

You guys need BoW Shirts to promote the site and so gamers know who your guys are.

Less bare metal/plastic then I was expecting to see, but I was introduced to Warmachine by a mixed bag of people when it came to painting. So, like me, love to paint, others not so much. (I’m a proponent of must be painted to play, I know some people aren’t though.)

Nice to see people reacting positively to Mk3 which is good. I am really interested to get into gaming now.

The guy who did a runner, i don`t think he was scared of the camera. I think the reason was this…………………….He saw Lance with his bowl of fruit, wearing his “Bright Pink Toto”.

Not having played a game in a long time, i think it`s time to get back into Warmachine / Hordes. Before i get left in the dark ages.

I’ve only just come in at the start of Mk3 really, but it’s good to see long term players liking the new edition.

Awesome weekend this year. Much more relaxed than last year, thanks to the change in arena points.

There’s Stu, the people’s champion! Wonder if he remembered to feat in that game…
