Flames Of War D-Day Boot Camp: Saturday
Some Last Minute Prep For The Boot Camp Armies
Some of our boot campers were in first thing this morning to add all of the delightful details to their armies.
The energy is electric in the hobby hall as our hobbyists are gearing up for a big day of wargaming!
Looks like everyone is having a blast. Congrats to all the guys that had a chance to be part of this event.
Thats some impressive work. Those infantry bases are going to need some gap filling later though.
Good to see everyone cracking on, need some games though! 🙂
Those tanks are looking good.
Painted plastic in the morning.
Some armies really starting to come together
The armies are coming together quite nicely!
Great work.
No idea how everyone got some much done so quickly! Well done! Going to be an amazing weekend
the addition of those starter boxes are going to make the games much more interesting in the long run for this bootcamp
Those tanks look good. Let’s get them on the table!
Nice application of wash. And the progress is not bad.
the armies of Hobby
Just out of interest, do the boot campers bring their own tools and paint, or just use the stuff to hand at the event? I’ve visions of people having trouble at customs because of sprue cutters and exacto knives if they have to bring their own.
Looking good everyone.
All of this has inspired me to jumpstart painting my minis!
Painting can be hard work. It is for me.
All the tiny fighty men.
Its interesting to see how more and more companies are getting into colored plastics. I paint everything, so I dont care, but it certainly is an industry trend
Looks fab, always good to get some colour on the troop…helps with the camouflage 😉
The forces are looking great, can’t wait to check back in on Warren and see how his have turned out.
for some reason the photos wont enlarge for me. but the work looks good
Really like how the armies are coming along!
ahh the frantic build stage……
Got to love a well painted ww2 late war army!
