Leo actually got Justin and I to sit down and try escargot for the first time...will this be the first time Justin is actually able to stomach something from another country that isn't a burger?
Let us know any of your recommendations for what else we should try

Frogs Legs is the obvious choice…lol
Frogs legs are tasty. Very succulent white meat, can’t see how anyone wouldn’t enjoy them unless you’re prudish about it being from a frog.

Justin, BBQ vs Escargot?
Here in Spain also have several recipes with escargots (caracoles) one of the best is spiced and salty, with cheese.
It’s not food but drink, try pastis!

Tips : Eat the snails and THEN use the bread on the sauce. 😀
But yeah, for a 1st time, can be hard to get used to the “chewing” texture. 🙂

Oh that is hilarious, fortunately I have had snails since I was young so those look delicious, I actually enjoy them particularly with a lot of garlic butter.

@blipvertus I shared the rest of the dish with Leo and I must say that less bread and more garlic / butter is very nice but although I like the escargot flavour, the texture does put me off. Az

Escargot is always a brave choice. Much like raw oysters it’s either a taste & texture you like or it makes you vomit. Frogs legs are delicious and would have been a kinder choice but it wouldn’t have been half as entertaining. Thank you for that gentlemen.
