We stop in for a chat with some of the designers and the community manager behind Shapeways who are bringing a lot of 3D printed products to the tabletop and allowing people to stretch their imaginations.

We were focused on the dice in particular here as they were one of the things they wanted to show off 🙂
Those dice are beautiful, was checking out his shapeways store, some great stuff there. I love that they are metal, meaning strong and durable, and wont wear down as fast as some plastic dice do.

I’m one of those people who doesn’t have a 3D printer but think those who do and bring to life something they’ve made are people who can share their ideas and products to other people who WILL pay for their work….well done and nice to see.

I love Shapeways service! I’ve used it to order tons of minis for Battlefleet Gothic. Haven’t been disappointed!

Wow. I think both dice designers have some terrific sets and I’ve long coveted one since I discovered them years ago.
I would love to know how even they roll. My nephew is only 2 amazing what he will see with 3D printing as he grows up.
These creators are so passionate! I have the equivalent of a Gardner’s black thumb when it comes to art and am always impressed with these wonderful ideas brought to life.

Shapeways has really made a few things that make my wargaming miniatures ,just a bit more cooler then my opponents..well done guys!
like the dice, I didn’t know you could print in metal! I wonder how much a printer that does that is?
Well you can use some dice to kill both player and character, with that spiky things, haha!
