Seminar - What's Coming For Flames Of War?
We have now uploaded the FULL seminar from the Battlefront UK Open Day so you can get a handle on everything Flames Of War and Team Yankee which is coming your way.
Make sure to keep an eye out for some slides from the presentation which we’ll be adding into the post later on.
I’m somewhat interested in the SS book, and how they are able to present them as a playable army yet dance around the controversial aspects.
I think they will only mention actual battles and skip the attrocitties committed.
This is a wargame sourcebook and not a history book dedicated to a single unit.
It will be interesting to see though, because from what I’ve seen of ‘Gross Deutschland’ and the things they did in Normandy … *eep*

Ah, but don’t forget what that nice SS recruit did looking under the tank at the end of Fury!…
Actually there was so much wrong with that last fight in Fury, that wasn’t the worst misrepresentation.
I’ve seen Fury but I don’t remember that detail.
I do agree that the last fight in Fury was a bit iffy, but I’d put that down to Hollywood trying to make a fluffin’ Sherman be invincible and a couple of editing mistakes as it changes to night time for some reason.
I like the fact that, as a player of Late War Germans, I can choose to ignore the SS by not buying the book.
I don’t like the way they’re releasing books with so little content for 4th edition.
The DAK book was an army list printed on paper.
The Battlegroup equivalents have so much more info up to and including the vehicle types used.
Awesome….I will have to watch this when my toddler falls asleep. Thanks for posting this
I do like the look of the goodies that are coming out
Bloody Omaha has really piqued my interest, it’s great having the heroes and legends represented, but there were many more who didn’t win a VC who led heroic missions.
The new sculpts look great, will have to get some when they are out.
Seminars are always a good thing. Thanks for sharing them with us!
like the paras
Much appreciate you guys shared this video.
Really interesting seminar – it was great how willing they were to take questions.
Thanks for posting this, lots of stuff to look around for some the next year 🙂
Awesome! got to watch the whole seminar.
Is it me or the German Fallschirmjager got…. how to put it…. a fair bit of a nose?
I think those are direct 3d images for the tooling. Once the plastic shrinks from cooling they would be a bit less pronounced.
Lots of juicy into here!
Thanks for the intel.
Quite the release schedule, looking like there will be quite a lot of stuff coming out for quite some time now.
Those British paratrooper look fantastic, can’t wait until next February!
The plastic soldiers look awesome, I want those fallschrimjager real bad. They will make a fine attachment along side my Gebirgsjager army.
Who needs tanks in FoW anyway? Infantry FTW.
OH my wallet hurts! So much great stuff.
Good stuff
My list increases in length lol. I can’t wait for the new stuff to roll out.
great looking troops.
What a great seminar, they have a busy year of offerings!
Para’s and Fallschirmjager sculpts are excellent can’t wait to see them in the ‘flesh’ April 2020 for Waffen SS arrghhh that’s ages away 😉 actually Feb 2020 for the Brits….
Bloody Omaha campaign cards look very interesting
Loving the British Paras!
I really want the new ww3/team yankee rules now. But it will make for a nice Christmas present.
Also Check Point Charlie will make a nice addition to the range. If everything ends up with v4 as the basis then timeline challenges will be fun. Maybe this will lead to an ultra late war Korea or a 1946 Allies v Soviets book. Lots to play with there.
Since the day, Battlefront have released the petinent seminar content in the form of a video on their Youtube Channel called “executive summary”
