Progressing Onto Extra Rules – Chatting With Ronnie!
We get a chat with Ronnie to find out what he's been up to this morning so far, talking with the Boot Campers about adding in some extra rules and making things a little harder for the survivors.
We'll be catching up with more of our Boot Campers throughout the day!
I’m still waiting for my Kickstarter box, but I’m thinking about using the Cell Shading method to paint these. Getting excited to try it.
The threat tracker works great for adding extra levels of tension
The threat level is a real cool mechanic, not only does it ratchet tension but it’s a built in timer.
Looks like another great day ahead.

Does that ‘shush’ action work on Warren? Not likely but just curious….
The nerve mechanic seems really neat and great at enhancing the theme as well as tactical choices. This might be the game to introduce to some mates not yet into miniature gaming but likes TWD world.

I think it is one of the best parts of this game is Nerve. I am looking forward to see how this effects the game.

It going to be interesting to see have Nerve effects game play. Do you try to rush in and go quickly or plan on a longer game.
The game mechanics are brilliant, it’s all the things that would come up if you were there.
That little extra, nerve, makes the gameplay more interesting and enjoyable. Don’t panic mr man warren.
I think today’s games will be tense with the new rules kicking, biting, howling there way in. 🙂

i love this dynamic at a boot camp – will watch the whole day while painting my walkers…
This is why I prefer WD over Zombicide. Get me right, Zombicide is a great casual coop game but WD adds a level of immersion, flexibility and stress.
I like the threat tracker mechanic
I like how the rules are getting added gradually. I find that really helps learning a game.
I wish I could have been a fly on the wall at the pub. Most likely a great time and I wonder if any potential games were discussed.

I bet it wouldn’t be hard to do an app.. to track the nerve .. and have sound/music effects. The ‘nerve’ idea is a great way to add immersion to the game.

The game seems to have much more depth than a quick look would suggest.
I didn’t really pay any attention to this when it was on kickstarter as I really don’t like Licensed IP games from TV movies and such but the more I hear about this the more I think I would like it.
The “nerve” mechanic seems a really good way to simulate the way stress etc can affect different people in different ways
