Army Painter RuneWars Hobby Weekend Live Blog – Saturday
Powering Through The Paint...
It's a mess of boxes, paints, brushes and more across the entire of the room here but everywhere something is getting painted and coming to life on the tabletop.
The Army Painter method has created some great looking armies so far.
i wonder how much paint was spilled this weekend.
If i were there… a LOT! lol
Or how much paint water was accidentally drank. 🙂
How many time have I cleaned my brush in my coffee or drank my paint water? That is so totally me!
😉
Ha Yup i feel your pain, paint in the coffee followed by a sigh, then drink the coffe anyway
As long as they’re using Citadel’s new War’ter they’ll be ok.
Hope they do another hobby weekend at some point.
You mean painting through the POWER!
Everyone looks so intense!
Is Lance on his second horse already?
Interesting to see how so many have brought in their own tools for their area. Lights and spray booths and even a nail polisher.
Looks like y’all have a few star wars fans there.
i hope at the end you guys will show us all the finished armys!
Army on parade when every on is done would be nice to see.
Looking at these I should probably invest in a new painting lamp. They seem like they halve the painting time for some people.
focus
Bring some more water, these guys are very concentrated
I am really getting inspired to get to painting…since i have two boxes of stuff coming next week, i should finish what i have.
Lance is on to his second horse, not quite the army painter method
Looks like everybody is hard at work
Yes as mentioned above we need to see the finished armies a pass in review as were.
Is that the second horse, Lance? 😀
People look so focused yet relaxed at the same time.
Great to get the painting mojo on.
I’m adding my vote to seeing all the armies at the end of the end of the weekend. I’d like to see a side-by-side comparison of how the quickshade looks on models painted in different colors and by hobbyists of various experience levels.
Agreed, always very interesting to see side by side comparisons. Not to judge quality against each other but to compare styles and approaches.
Good stuff. Lots of good hobby happening.
I don’t think I have ever seen a group of people just dedicated to painting for so long, though it certainly would be a blast.
What a great way to get the armies on the tabletop. They look really good. I have to spend more time learning the Army Painter method.
Learned a few things about Army Painter here. Impressed at the ease and quickness. I’m not looking to win awards, I just want a nice army 😉
Ahhh Lance is trying to get his lone ranger a few friends.
