Play Mats and Foliage planting

In attempts to re-create the new Star Wars Battlefront Game releasing this November, we delve into comparing different Play Mats from Frontline F.A.T. mats and go back in history to look into the box of some old Star Wars At-At and At-St models from 1995 published by Lucas Arts including tiny Snow Speeders!

So jealous over those AT-AT’s…
I’ve looking for these things for FWC a few years ago and never found them except at gruesome prices on e-bay.

I had that Star Wars Hoth set! Saw a Hoth participation game at the Claymore show in Edinburgh back about 95 or 96 that used that set and went out and bought one, but never used it. Wonder uf it’s still at my folk’s house…

I think the first mat is the way to go.

The mat looks perfect. Doen’t bother to much about scale. X-Wing is what as far as I know is called cinematic scale. So some of their models aren’t even in scale to each other. It just hast to look good and plausable.
