Set further back from the main hall the folks at Gen Con have a painting area where you can sit and paint up miniatures, join in with challenges and generally maybe take a break from it all for a bit.
There are a few nice pieces on display here too and with that in mind we're going to come back tomorrow and see what appears in the cabinets.
Quite curious to see the results!

Here is some of my work from the speed painting competitions. Pictures taken with an iPhone and hotel lamp as light source.
I could never paint at a show. basicly i fall into the Loyde syndrome (but with a bigger brush).
I’m exactly the same. It would take me forever as id keep been distracted too!
Speed painting was never my best.
