Hi guys! Finally recovered enough to log on 🙂 so, the Painter I couldn’t remember is Andy Wardle, who ended up winning with the fellblade. Judging, well I can tell you from a Birdseye veiw that it was TOUGH, each judge had guidance notes on, technique, atmosphere etc. (If I told you the details we could all me finalists next year… The judges are very open in their comments and gave me some useful tips on improving my painting style, like making them higher contrast and enphasiing shading. I was one of the judges on the day and I can confirm that making the decisions was really quite tricky, but an absolute honour. I hadnt twigged you were with the BoW crew 😛
@lloyd – it was also me at the bar friday night buying those last few drinks when only residents could order 😉
