Games Workshop has got fully playable demos of Necromunda on the tabletop and they have loads of people interested in this new iteration of the game with the map-tile based approach.
Do you think you're going to be convinced to give this version of the game a go or will you be focusing on the old school tile-less approach?

She’s quite young, she won’t really know. Plus if worst happens I could sell the wife with her as a sort of bundle
Yup me 2, both of them in fact, one for a few all in industrial terrain crates from mantic, and the other for a few copies of necromunda 😉
I can’t say I find the aesthetic appealing. I haven’t played an earlier iteration, and I will probably give this one a miss as well.
It looks like they rush painted those miniatures on the demo tables though. Good lord…
The new tiles don’t appeal to me, i’m looking forward to a lot of old school games on a 4×4 with my vintage Van Saar 😀 .
They’re releasing a PDF download with rules for all the classic gangs.
I need this game… mostly for the new miniatures.
I liked the multi level approach of the original.
The original looks to be better. Especially with the levels.
I reckon the new one will be better if you play it with Sector Mechanicus scenery. Or if you prefer a less Gothic look some MDF laser cut scenery. Those new miniatures look miles better than the originals.
I’m very excited about this. I went and dug out my old gangs. of course, I’m guessing the Redemptionists are about to get a massive graphics overhaul.
When I saw this was coming out, I thought of all the great sci fi terrain that Mantic is making with Terrain Crate. Those 2 combined will be amazing.
