Morning Games - Training For The Big Push

We're seeing a few more engagements come together for the Flames Of War Boot Camp this morning as they play out a final round of games before we move onto the BIG event later on today.

There is going to be one hell of a fight over the railroad...but before that we need to find out how the British and Germans are doing since last nights revelations.

Keep an eye out for more soon. Also, how cool do the tank tracks look when they've been left in the sand!?

I have to say I really do like the artillery pieces, love the level of detail on them…

Funny I was thinking exactly the same thing. Amazing considering the scale as well

I didn’t think grants would be that good but apparently they are 🙂

Yep at this phase of the the Grant and US Lee are really good. Used the Lee in V3 anytime I played Yanks in the desert. Deadly

I have seen 20mm or even 28mm scale figures and vehicles with less detail

The tank tracks in the sand make it look so cool.

I know what we are missing from the photos – the Soldier’s Eye View camera that Warren used with Bolt Action and Dropzone Commander. Gets right down to battlefield correspondent level. So many tanks, so little time 🙂

I was playing battlefield 1 last night on the desert map, and all I could think about was how the BOW sponge rocks actually look a lot like the rocks in that game hahaha.

Yep! Loving those tracks in the sand! That would make a great gaming table….an area of ground that has been fought over several times littered with wrecks and tank tracks everywhere! Then maybe even a Grant can go ‘hull down’ behind a wreck and not have to dig a 12″ hole first!!!

This makes me want a big desert board of my own.

It’s so impressive the details that Battlefront have managed to get on such small models.

It looks, one again, that the artillery will be commanding where the movement will be.

Once again, the rocks really do look good as terrain. It’s also amazing how much color just a few green palm trees add to an otherwise monochromatic landscape.
