Flames Of War D-Day Boot Camp: Saturday
Martin The Perfectionist Takes His Time Building & Painting His Force
There are some who concentrate on just building and rolling their forces across the table as soon as they can. But Martin likes to concentrate on the details.
Not content with a quick primer spray, Martin has focused on adding little bits of detail across his force. The bases have lovely tufts of grass sprouting around ankles and treads alike. He might even get a game in before everyone heads to the pub…
They look good. I especially like the PAK 40 gun. I tend to take way too long painting up my models as well.
Painting models is much like a pint of Guinness, if you rush it, it just isn’t as good.
Wow! He did all that in one day? They look great! Very rewarding getting that much stuff done so quickly
Looks good to me!
Amazing for a days work!
Fantastic looking models
Those models look absolutely amazing! And done in a day!
Cracking work from @laughingboy there.Fingers crossed he gets plenty of games in for the remainder of the Bootcamp.
NICE. Ideal for nice game.
looking good.
They do look good though
Seems like painted mini’s play better. I had a force that was no completely painted, could not win one game with them. The first game after I had finished painting them, I won. And the next two games I played as well. Next game was against a fully painted force, and I lost it.
amazed this has been done in a day
Love it man, they look great!
Worth the extra couple of hours I reckon, they look great!
Thats really cool, not much needed to ger a force looking awesome and ready for the table.
Nice work!
What an army so quickly well impressed!
That’s some awesome skill displayed to do all that to that standard in one day!
That is effort. I would need a week for this.
The PAK 40 with the tufts is particularly nice. I´d regard this as finalised.
Looking good.
Nice!
Keep going @laughingboy, a man after my own heart!
Very good for the amount of time spent!
Laughing boy=painting boy. Nice work martin!
