Lonewolf - The Battle For Magnamund

Here we have a neat board game/miniatures game using card board cut outs based on the artwork from the Lonewolf series and its adventuring books.

The game is very simple to play and comes absolutely packed with battlefields, characters, heroes and monsters. It's a really interesting prospect for those people who like 'wargaming' but don't want to paint models.

Interestingly it also comes with some smaller skirmish based scenarios where you're playing with only a few troops or even just a hero.

I grew up on the Lone Wolf and Grey Star books. Sadly, I don’t think I still have them. As a kid, I thought I was so cool having a d10 to roll instead of using the random chart at the end of the books where you close your eyes and pointed at a page filled with repeating numbers of 0 to 9. The idea that I could read a book that came with a character sheet blew my (then) tiny little mind.

this is a cool game. I used to play it a lot. It’s worth to be discussed and played. It’s a really interesting prospect for those people who like ‘wargaming’ but don’t want to paint models. It’s good when those games are well written by professional writers

Battle for Magnamund may be a fantasy wargame for 2 or more players. Each battle pits good against evil, and players may control either a whole army or one brigade on one side at a time. The goal is to permit you to re-create any battle or scenario from the classic loner books, and therefore the game comes with pre-made scenarios to start out you on your way 1Z0-1060-20 exam dumps.
