Army Painter RuneWars Hobby Weekend Live Blog – Saturday
Learning To Play The Game
We have Az here who is teaching some of the gamers, and challenging the Army Painter guys, to play some RuneWars to test their skills and learn the ropes.
It's looking like a really fun game and we're going to have a video explaining the basic mechanics of it soon.
Yes, please get that video online asap.

Great looking mini’s. I second @severon, please get that video up ASAP!
I have been excited about this game since seeing some videos from GenCon 2016. Can’t wait for it to hit my local store!
Are these minis painted this weekend? They are based and everything!
Hoping to see a Lets Play of this.
Good looking paint. Wonder how the hobby campers will compare.

Csn’t wait for the “Let’s Play” too. Very curious. I’m already an X-Wing Miniatures player and I really like what Fantasy Flight has done with it. When I see those dials, it tikles something in my brain…
Finally some games! I want footage!
Do hope this gets a vid up at some point today. Looks fun with the dials for moves/actions.

I keep repeating myself, but really wish I could have been there. Looks like so much fun
Get it on.
Let the battles begin.
Hah…I’ve been so into the painting that I completely forgot you guys were going to be teaching the game!
The wars begin!
Wow the models look so good with the bases flocked and with the schrubs
Anyone using Inks other than the tones or Quick Shades? They have a good dark green, red, blue, purple, etc. range of inks that would probably shade some of the cloth better than the muddy browns (unless of course you’re deliberately going for a muddy weathered look).
