SmogCon VI 2017 Live Blog: Day One
Just What Games Are Happening This Morning?
We stop off with Jason to find out about the various games which are going on today here at SmogCon as we look at the different types of games open to those playing Warmachine & Hordes.
For example they are focusing in on Masters, Steamroller and more today including Who's The Boss which we'll see more on later.
Like putting in different set ups for the games.
Any live streaming of games going on?
We are hearing rumours of a live streaming group coming to the event I’m on the hunt for them 🙂
Would be awesome to see some games from Smogcon
Timed rounds always seems good fun
Cant wait to see what the new faction will be like. Liking the previews so far (not much info model-wise) and that may be my switch to Hordes.
Who’s the Boss? sounds great. Its an interesting way to deal with power gamers!
Champions sounds interesting, is there a lot of interest for that?
That hall looks massive! How many players are there? So sad I can’t be there : \
Why am I at work??????????????????
Looks like a blast!
Looks very well organized.
No one has said it so…… butt crack……………..convention necessity that.
…… damn that would be fun . Is Smogcon a yearly event??
It’s like 20/20 cricket.
So Who’s the Boss sounds interesting. I’ll try to get my local Pressganger to run it as a tournament sometime soon.
Who’s the boss format sounds really fun and interesting, shame I haven’t got any stores around me that play Warmachine or Hordes to suggest it.
Who’s the boss sounds very cool.
That “who’s the boss” sounds like a blast
i assumed you will take part in it too Justin!
I asume PP is doing streaming, cool format for who is the boss i copy that!
The who’s the boss format sounds quite different….
I like the idea of the various play methods. Keeps you on your toes and really makes you think.
Im gutted I missed masters B. I came down with a stomach bug the night before and was still throwing up when it was due to start.
Will privateer press be at Salute?
I was playing in Steamroller A. Timed turns was hard work, but I never actually ran out of time during the event. Who’s the Boss is a great format, loved taking part it in on the Sunday. I’m going to have to try running it at as a local event sometime soon.
