Team Yankee Boot Camp Live Blog: Sunday
John's HIND Assembly!
John puts together one of the HINDS from the Soviet set letting you see how they go together. It's certainly one of the favourite Choppers from the weekend.
It's the one we sprayed gold and turned into Lloyd's Premier Chopper!
Really nice job John, kit looks great.
Ack… with my data plan l, I won’t be watching this on my phone. I’m definitely watching this tonight! The People need more Hinds!
Great job as always John… Wonderful looking kit, I can’t wait to get my hands on some!!
Looks like a good kit.
I can’t wait to see an Apache kit come out
Great looking kit! Can’t wait
Nice kit… I need the soviet starter
Awesome shirt by the way!
That is a beast of a model
Have to agree, nice kit indeed! I’m looking forward to putting a few of these together. Would also love to see some painting tutorials on one of these at a later date.
Even if I never play a game of Team Yankee, the HIND looks like a nice model to build and paint. And I like the references I’ve seen with the blue underside and camouflage body.
That is one kit I shall certainly be looking at, looking at them up close and personal they look even bigger. Only time I chucked in a helicopter was in a Chinook – urrrgh!
Nice tutorial, instructions for the kit look pretty good too.
awesome model, great t shirt
Are the magnets included in the kit as standard?
If so thats pretty sweet 🙂
Yup, that thing is huge!
The Hind looks like a superb model, thx for an excellent tutorial John.
Looks like a great kit to build. Thanks for the tutorial, and your dreams of milk proof robots.
Jesus that thing is huge!
Do the magnets come with the kit? If so that’s pretty cool
Great tutorial, how long was John actually locked up in the room assembling over the weekend?
I can see that’s going to take a lot of time to do, but I’m up for it.
John needs a raise for working while everyone else is getting to play!
(ok, we all realize that the whole time is working, but it sure seems like John gets shuffled off more than the rest.)
team that is…..
Second the motion. Wholeheartedly.
Cool model and looks like a great kit. Seeing this gives me really high hopes for the Apache
wow, that looks like a really fiddly kit to assemble, and even more so to protect. Going to have to think of storage ideas for these bad boys.
A great look kit will look forward to get some built.
