We check in with John and find out how his modelling has been coming along. It seems like Artillery is the name of the day to begin with as he gets stuck into a mammoth project.
So, John and Justin grudge match? Who do you think will be coming out on top?

One question for the Battlefront guys and yourself: where are the tractors for the guns? (both armies) Having artillery that cannot displace and regroup is a bit of a hazard to say the least, and hoping they’ll wreak a sufficiency of havoc among the opposition first is placing a lot of faith in a small unit.
I wonder how they would fare if mg teams flanked them on both sides….
There are no tractors or transports in V4 Mid-War because Infantry gun teams got fast enough to not need them anymore (20cm vs 15cm for infantry and no penalty for dashing).
John is an expert at putting kids together. No instructions??

Too bad the large holed bases are not conducive to putting the crew in their right fighting positions.

Looking forward to the battles ahead. Something about the way john was sat made him seem more like an artillery guru than the usual tank god.
Don’t have to worry about tractors for the British, that’s why all British tanks had tow hooks
Love bolt action but it looks like I may have to expand into Flames of War as well. I’ll have to convince my family to join me. Don’t think it will be hard. Dibs on the Desert Rats
I’ll have to admit it , i do prefer Rommel to monty 🙂 both sides have some good kit though bet it will look good when all painted up. ..maybe some sand on the tanks would look good

I wonder if John has gone the Bovington tank museum it’s really good and has tiger 131 I hope someone paints a tiger in 131 scheme 🙂
Can’t wit to see the battles. Always a fan of the way you present your battles. Even better that it is a grudge match.
John will lead with the tanks, then he will follow with tanks and then have reserves which are tanks. If he uses his other assets well he will win, if not and it is just tanks, tanks, tanks then the nod goes to Justin!
hate building kits without instructions, always seem to put at least one piece in completely the wrong place or find it after I finish building the kit
