Possibly the most interesting video I’ve seen in a while. I’m also wondering if I could even fit through those hatches.
Bovington Tank Museum is an amazing place, they open chieftain up everyday I believe for an hour so you can climb in and look around. Was lucky to get the commanders position as my spot on the last visit. It’s incredibly cramped inside, especially when you see the size from outside, certainly would have got cosy on exercise that’s for sure.
The Cheftian was the first tank I trained on. It was good to see it again. An he’s right, the most important thing on board was the boiling vessel.

I love this series so much. They cover a lot of tanks and talk far more about about the workings of the tank itself, and what it’d actually be like to sue them. Which is a great change from the typical, “oh man, look at the size of that gun and armour”.
