Heading Into The Desert – The Medjez Valley 1943
Some guys have put together this awesome table for the Medjez Valley in 1943. This seems very apt considering we've been looking at the Americans In Tunisia as part of an article series recently.
The game uses Battlegroup Torch and shows a battle and the first advance of the 2nd Armoured Division!
Man alive, that is nice. I admire people with the skill to put tables like this together
Agreed. I certainly couldn’t manage it.
It looks amazing. I love the use of burlap as desert terrain. Very creative.
Awesome table!
Epic !!!
Wish I had the time and patients to put together a table like that. Will just have to keep using books and boxes.
What a fantastic table!
i like the clever use of the base layer !
Amazing looking table, would love to have a game on that.
The sacking of Medjez ;P
excellent display and great way to represent the sandy ground.
Great looking table, the burlap is a great idea! Awesome followup to @oriskany‘s Tunisian article series!
Amazing looking table and game. Must get the Battlegroup rulebook out again.
Stunning table, auto-play 😀
nice job!
Fabulous table – I am reading my Torch book at present. The wealth of background material is inspiring.
Great stuff, even on photos
wow, that’s pretty. the scatter really does bring it up to another level.
Nice works!
This is just cool!
If there was a gaming Mekka, where people can bring along their minis and stuff to play on gorgeous gaming tables and if I was to decide what table to get next to enter the collection, I would most certainly suggest this one for keywords such as “North Africa”, “DAK”, “Desert Rats” and “what @oriskany wrote about Tunisia”. The broken bridge, marvellous.
Replace the tanks with speeder bikes and AT-STs, and I’m, sold!
Nice, inspiring use of Hessian too
There are some interesting and clever ideas on this table! Great work!
That is gorgeous.
Love the bullet holes in the buildings! Attention to detail 🙂
this table was great, I had not even thought about using hessian fabric as a table mat.
