I’m slowly getting tempted to delve into Space Fleet style wargaming…slowly mind…
Summer, so winter down here, but it’ll probably be Summer by the time we get it ^_^’
That is really nice, but I suspect that as a non Halo player who has no understanding of the back story and what the forces are, the Hawk dropship commander spaceship game will be where my money goes.
Looks like an easy game to get going with. Familiar mechanics will make it enjoyable and I should mention that the detail is living up to Spartan Standards.
OMG i am really looking forward to this game….iv been a Halo player since it came out and have had friends who are video gamer’s but not TT gamer’s but yet love Halo, i think once i get this i might just be able to turn a few arms and bring some people to wonderful world of TT gaming
looking more & more like a game I’ll be investing in
The ships look absolutely AMAZING. I’d love to know more about this game and have a closer look at those models. Best spaceships from Spartan Games if you ask me 😀
Looks cool, must say.
give me know i must have here just take my wallet
This or star wars…choices choices
Cut out the maths and make a fast punchy game.
Excellent tactics from Spartan IMO, to get those video gamers away from their screens for a minute.
I think Spartan has a winner on their hands, they’re going to sell soo much Halo stuff.
And with this game they should be able to lure video gamers into our fantastic hobby.
And this just one of their Halo games coming this year!
That sounds interesting, and the minis look fabulous. I never played HALO so I would be coming at this as a novice.
Thanks for the video, Dawn. Great to “see” this in more than just still images.
Super looking game and no maths 🙂
So utterly impressed with the minis. Even if the rules end up unappealing, I’ll be buying purely for collection purposes.
That said, I fully anticipate playing this way more than is healthy.
Halo as a wargame. That is awesome. Can’t wait to see the ground version of the game.
Cripes! Can’t wait to see what will be in the box if the video shows the set ‘with some additions’. Seemed like a lot of stuff there to my eyes.
Pre-Order now done. 🙂
Thank god spartan are taking pre-orders( just ordered mine) for this online for this now as i would have been gutted to miss out on this.
Sooo cannot wait to try out this game!
I really want this to succeed.
I think the hobby needs new blood all the time, and like was previously mentioned, this is a good way to get younger folks from the video-game generation interested in miniatures and tabletop games.
I love the ships, but is it bad that I really want the busts more? 😉
Those look killer, I think this will be pretty popular to be honest. Halo has a big universe thats getting expanded upon by games and books. Not to mention the huge following the universe already has, should be interesting.
I have several small Dystopian Wars armies. I don’t play them much anymore, but I must say that Spartan’s minis are absolutely fantastic!
This did look great – even as a ‘non sci-fi’ fan, you’d be hard pressed to find faults with it 🙂
