I got to talk about this neat new game based in the same world and theme as The Castle Of Mad King Ludwig. The Palace takes things to the next level as you actually are working cooperatively to build a mighty fine palace on the tabletop.
The twist is that you actually have some things you can do to try and beat your opponents to being the best builder! After all, it wouldn't be done to be outshone right?
So is it a cooperative game, or not?
It’s semi-cooperative – you are all working together to build the Palace, but you also are trying to win points for yourself.
Co-opetitive… after coopetition?
