Getting In Some Sharpe’s Practice With Too Fat Lardies
I also stopped in to see what was up with a bit of Napoleonic skirmishing as we delved into the world of Sharpe's Practice from Too Fat Lardies.
This game had quite the following around it throughout the day.
A big cheer for Too Fat Lardies!
Awesome game, found a place for my 28mm Rifleman, without having to go large scale. Fab little game.
It was great seeing all the different demo games. Too many games and not enough time
Great table, wish I had been there and tried the game. There is always next year though!
Two Fat Lardies games are great and their demos are a scream
That looks pretty aces!
Two Fat Lardies great, demo tables fantastic.
It would not be Salute without Two Fat Lardies being there.
That looks awesome, ive been looking for a napoleonic skirmish game, while the big battles are cool i love the idea of playing the smaller games too!!
I hear good things about these rules.
Glad to see all those fellas younger than me playing Sharpe Practice 2. Built a whole French and Indian War set of forces out of paper Jr. General downloads for it. Great fun for all the horse and musket conflicts.
thats a lot of serious faces
a little game a day keeps the doctor away, eh?
I really need to get this rule set, it’s about time i got some Napoleonic action going.
@caileendeas what was your favorite demo?
@dave Thanks for the peek at the game!
May need to peak at this, the idea appeals as it gets around the mass battle, try to resist new games … but window shopping can’t hurt can it
This looks like it’s another fun one.
Loved watching Sharpe all those years ago! Shame they only really ever had the budget for small skirmishes!
Very cool.
These massive historical games are always tempting.
Big crowd can only equal big quality, as people would have been coming specifically to engage with this, surely.
Looks like plenty of people were interested in that one. Could be a great game with that much interest.
Good to see them enjoying themselves
I can’t say that I’ve heard of this one.
I’d love to get into this – I view it as an accessible start to Napoleonics.
