GCT Studio was crazy busy showing off their fantastic game, Bushido (which we made the plunge into ourselves). On top of the beautiful game, there were a couple Easter eggs at the stand as we spied the gorgeous prototype buildings for the game from 4Ground. Just picture how beautiful the game tables will look with these beauties!
Those buildings will go great with Test of Honor.

I really want to get into a samurai game that’s got beautiful miniatures like this. Anyone know if this is a fun game. ..or have other suggestions on a simple game to pick up in this genera?

This is an incredible game. It is played on a 2×2 surface so you don’t need a ton of space, and because it’s a true skirmish game my largest forces have been 8 models per side or less. Besides the rulebook and character cards are available to download free from the website so there’s no reason not to try it. The miniatures are indeed fantastic with each having its own look. There are no cases of a few main guys then all the rest are mass plastic sprues where everyone looks the same. This game is much better than that.… Read more »

So I look forward to future posts about your thoughts on the game and possibly some video of a “let’s play” or something. Thank you again for additional coverage of such a great game. Love the previews of the 4Ground stuff.
