We take a closer look and talk to Gaz about his kitbashed monster/contraption. It is quite the inspired piece and shows off the creativity that exists within our wonderful little community, and what Fabled Realms invokes in people too.

Yep spent all Sunday gaming (around 8 hours) before spending a couple of hours talking through the rules with the 4Ground guys. I finished the just bash Saturday night at the hotel 🙂
Nice job. I love that people are actually using the kitbashing to be able to build little diaramas as well as stand-alone minis for the game. Hope there will be pics on the forums once its painted.
I did drop it earlier but it should just need gluing again as it shattered in all the kit bash places 🙂

Yeah, I wanted to put a story to it and while digging through all the kit bash items selected a fair few bits I liked. Then this just ended up being the sum of the parts.
So it really was a kit BASH……. I’ll see myself out.
I’m curious what the ratio of hobby/gaming has been for this boot camp.
We started in the Friday around 5pm. I spent the time from then until just before the close building, cleaning, priming and zenithing my minis. At the end of the night we got a demo game run through by two of the 4Ground guys. Saturday started around 10am, I went through and designed my warband using the guide and selected the cards from my deck during which I questioned a couple of the cards abilities. Great story behind the miniatures, and interesting choice to flock it unpainted – sort of highlights / frames the kit bashing aspect nicely.
