New Forces Join The Ranks For DUST - Is That Cthulhu?!

DUST 1947 is bringing out the big guns as we see Cthulhu forces joining the game. They've been hiding in the shadows up to now, but they're ready to join the game and shake things up a bit!
If that's no cool enough, the Japanese are teaming up with the SSU (hooray for Dawn & Lloyd!).
You don’t see many flying Cthulhu models. Glad they did something different from all the other Cthulhu minis. Not sure how the Mythos will work in DUST but the thought of Walkers vs Great Old Ones does get me very excited!

I have mixed feelings when I see cool new models for Dust. I have a big collection of stuff, and still play using the Battlefront rules and cards. I am reluctant to embrace (another) new iteration of the rules.
Anyone who has played the latest version, what is it like? I don’t fancy the grid; there would have to be a ‘true’ wargaming version available.
