We chat with Fantasy Flight Games about the newest take on Descent: Legends Of The Dark.
This is a fantastic new version of the game that builds it from the ground up. This new version of the game comes with amazing miniatures and a sprawling campaign.
Ok so this has my interest for sure….. damn you OTT the first post has me sucked in already… really!
The game is looking brilliant the figures are fabulous the only down side is the app.I know that app’s creep is happening but board games was a great way to get off the techy boxes.
looks good, but i’m stil unconvinced aout apps that may not work when devices or os update. maybe if companies legally guarantee to make the code open source once the stop selling it for more than a year? that way fans could (in therory) keep it going if needed
The miniatures look nice, but personally I’d like the option to play the game without the app. I always worry a game will become unplayable once it goes out of print.
so what are we figuring the mini are what 32 mil?
The minis look great, not convinced by the app side of things.
The only thing stopping me is the price tag. It’s expensive for a computer/board game/miniature game combo.
I really enjoy Journey’s to Middle Earth (app driven), but that price is more reasonable.
