Fabled Realms Beta Weekend Day Three: Kitbashing & Legacy Gaming

We're back for the Fabled Realms Beta Weekend where we've got some very tired, but very cool folks waiting to get their kitbashed warbands onto the tabletop.

Justin and Sam have been tinkering away as well but we're looking forward to learning more about alternative rules and the campaign system too.

I’ve never really got into kitbashing, always felt slightly heretical to cut up plastic I’d just bought, but this is certainly inspiring me to give it a go, and my bits box is certainly ripe for being raided.

@dignity the shieldmaidens would well as Fellendorf militia too, I guess there’s no list and cards for them yet.

Great idea from justin with those shieldmadens, in w similar way ive been keeping an eye on loads of fantasy and dark age minis to use within this game. Im hoping to create a couple of forces thwt will compliment the 4ground minis when they arrive. I love those dwarves too, thats some mean looking weapons they have. Really impressed with the terror ripping that guy in half, how was the effect made? Was it that special green mix?

Sadly I have to do some work around the house so I can’t join in to the kitbashing, but I’ll enjoy looking at your results throughout the day.

The hungry Ogers look great. I wouldn’t want that group coming my way.

Looking forward to starting bashing out some warbands. I have grand plans. I just hope they develop beyond plans. Do the rules and background allow for interactions with large creatures and monsters? Maybe even including one in a warband? Maybe a local troll (who normally likes to avoid the humans) is aware of the Dragoi and decides that helping the local villagers is in his interests too.

have a great day folks. the whole kit bashing aspect of this game really interests me. I’m going to have to grab the rules when I have time and see how it all works.

Did I recognize a Ogre Kingdom head on one of the little ones? Had he hair, he´d have a bigwig.
