Exploring Kevin's Juno Beach Table
One of the awesome tabletops that we saw here this weekend was this brilliant Juno Beach tabletop from Kevin. This is a full on labour of love and is a wonderful and (as close as) accurate representation of what they would have been facing during the invasion attempt.
It features lots of great infantry, tanks and those massive landing craft too which are a joy to behold.
That is simply breathtaking!
I think Kevins table is epic, Im currently looking at those landing craft mmmmmmmmm
I agree those landing craft are awesome
Uau what a beautiful table
Well done Kevin!
Simply fantastic models and layout.
I wonder if OTT could get Kevin to do a build article on the landing craft both large and small.
Maybe Lloyd has already done something like this and I missed it?
Again Well Done Kevin! ?☺
If anyone is interested these are printed card the roads are made out of (well about 99% sure). https://www.metcalfemodels.com/product/m0051-00-h0-cobblestone-sheets/
I have use Metcalfe Products before on model railway stuff and actually have some of their Tarmacadan Shhets to turn into roads sometime!
Astoundingly the 20mm craft do not seem to be unbearably and terribly out of scale. And again, the house opposite the huge landing craft reminds me of a house I saw in TV footage on D-Day covering the British landings.
Those landing craft are awesome
The LCT are just stunning, a dream to have those on your table for such scenario. maaaybe once I got enough LCVP, LCA and LCM? 😉
Stunning table setup, thanks for showing us
love to play a demo on that table, would not have known the landing craft where not to scale
I was lucky enough to get a long chat with Kevin today. Really impressive project he has completed. Those landing craft look all the more stunning in person. It was Sword beach, btw. Queen Red sector.
Awesome table, congrats!
I’ll be looking at those pictures a few more times on the days to come 🙂
I just love those landing craft.
Amazing table build, looks like it’d be a good game to play.
Maybe it’s just me but I can hardly see the difference in scale between the landing craft and the tank. Looks amazing
He’s done some amazing work
Great job, what an amazing table.
Congrats. very nice job on your table. Love it!
brilliant stuff.
Only one problem not Juno beach. Juno was Canada’s beach sword was to the east gold was to the west both British.
great table and ships and they do not loo out of scale
That landing craft is a great setpiece to the table

Nicely done Sir!
Just an amazing table.
