Evening Hobby Pushes Onwards
We take a minute to see how everyone's hobby is going and see that some folks are looking towards adding that extra bit of effort and doing some painting.
It's quite epic seeing some of these armies take shape and it almost feels like a tank factory in here.
Is that John with all the reference material on the left of the table? 🙂
Gerry Supplied the ref material, thanks @avernos 🙂
Having mainly tanks and a few guns really gets people into the hobby quickly, I’d love to see this boost interest in flames in my gaming group. Who doesn’t like 88’s and Panzer’s! I imagine having a spray gun would get you gaming with a well painted force in no time. Can’t wait to see how it plays out.
looks really good , someone needs to make a tiger 131 🙂
looks so fun and that reference material seems like a good source for painting i be tsome people will have some nice looking desert camos
Wonder what the ratio of painted to un paited will be at the end of the boot camp.
are you guys using the new flames of war afrika korps and desert rat paint sets ?
Yep, great sets 🙂
good luck with your build Stu. Say Hi to Andy from me if you could. Thx to him we have that Mall in Vanguard.
Very cool stuff , good luck all
Starting to see a lot of empty sprues, that’s a good sign for the games to come. Also, I have a couple of osprey books and would recommend to anyone wanting a guide for the historical placement of an army or just as great refernce art for painting.
you have all done really well making them armys so quick , be tthey will look good painted up
Dont think ive seen so much plastic armour!! Definitely getting my club into this!!
The kits do look great! And I’m all for the speed painting aspect here!! Best of luck tankers!
Oh I really wish I could be there.
Tankograd reenactment that’s what it is.
progress hustle and rush. then sit back to ease the back strain.
Still seeing the unit cards and it seems that some of the info is upside down as if they are to be folded? they didn’t look like that in the promotional pics I have seen so I am wondering whats up with that?
Beautiful panzers on the way to the front. Absolute tank porn.
Looks like there is some painting starting!
They’re a lot faster then me in building!
I have the German Panzers book! Love how it lays out each Panzer Division’s equipment and look over the course of the war!
I have that book too Irontom and I find it to be an excellent tool for reference and I love the fact that they have a multitude of camouflage schemes in used during WWII by the various formations.
Anyone start cramping up from being hunched over too long yet? :^)
@ Beasts, did you guys supply the references for the Boot campers or did some of the guys just bring their own? Either way great inspiration while assembling and paining.
With all the glue fumes half the people in there should be feeling pretty loose right about now.
Good to see that Stark Industries is taking up an active role in assisting the war effort!
