...what would you like to see for the game in the near year? We're really excited about Scourge invested Space Stations.
All very exciting stuff. I know I would love to see a Shaltari super gate, maybe it allows the Shaltari a unique way of deploying. At a cost of course

Will there be bigger box set? An Army set?
That’s an idea. Maybe next Christmas. A bigger starter box including more of the ships a starter army would use.
Glad to hear there’s 2 sprues each in the Frigate and cruiser boxes. I was assuming one and wondering why bother getting a cruiser box when you could get three cruisers and four frigates for the price of two cruiser boxes?
No mention of dreadnoughts… or are they in the ‘we won’t talk about those’ part?
Big orbital defence weapons – I mentioned those during the KS as it became clear that the Aegis were pretty small in the scheme of things.

I’d like to see an admiral’s ability allow a ship or ships to choose to overload their engines as a last resort to damage nearby enemies.
It is already in the rules, the Ramming covers just that. And you don’t have to have an admiral for that either, it’s up to every captain’s decision.

Sounds good. Just got back from my local gaming store (Black Dragon, Hinckley, UK) where I was telling them they should start stocking Dropfleet Commander.

I second that.
Frigates are good and everything, but most of the times they supporting bigger ships, or fighting… well, each other. I would welcome a ship class between a light cruiser and a frigate, some pack hunter by design dedicated to bring down larger (much larger) ships than itself.
Lots of options for the future then. Shaltari space stations sound interesting
Great information! I think if you use Eve as a basis for combat ship types there can be a lot of room for expansion.
