This is an excellent re-write of the major events of the 20th Century. This is an Awesome scene setter and opens up tons of options for a Cold war going hot. I got to get in on this game now, which will likely delay my late war army for FOW.
Thanks @bitrider and @sircaroon15 . The basic idea was to create a 1980s environment where the campaign Warren and Lloyd were envisioning was possible. Just saying . . . “Oh, we’ll have Ronald Reagan attack the Warsaw Pact in 1985 instead of vice-versa” is more than a little nuts, and not because of “we’re always the good guys” mentality. There are seriously a lot of real-world factors in place in the 1980s that make this so implausible that it was tough to get into. So . . . change the 1980s. 🙂 How do you do that? The Boot Camp was indeed amazing, @heregrim – it’s amazing how much work the BoW team puts into the tables, set up, support, and hosting. And of course having Anders from Battlefront was awesome as well. Talk about having the “go to guy” for learning the game and rules clarifications!
