Wolsung Boot Camp Live Blog – Friday
Demo Games Getting Underway!
Justin Catches up with Martin and Lukasz as they are starting to get into some demo games already. No waiting around here!
You'll be learning lots more about the mechanics of the game over the coming days along with us and we'll hopefully be back with Martin and some point soon so we can find out how he feels as he understands more of the game mechanics.
Although I will not be able to participate because I do not have the funds at the moment thanks to a needed auto repair, I would like to thank Micro Arts Studio for offering the BoW crowd the 15% off. Great idea, hope others do the same in future boot camps.
Agreed. I have bugger all chance of making it to a Bootcamp living in NZ, so little things like this make the weekend feel more inclusive.
Agreed! Thanks very much Micro Arts Studio, thanks for looking out for us gamers with your weekend discount!
Good to see games kicking off this early.
Yup, thanks to Micro Arts Studio. Great idea to support all of BoW this weekend.
Justin, if you have any unclaimed buildings after the boot camp, feel free to send them over here!
Love that people are getting stuck in right away. I’d also like to echo the comments above that Micro Arts Studio is really stepping up by offering the bundles and discount to those that could not attend.
Glad to see people getting stuck in early, get those figures on the table.
Yes, lower the amount of models in the game and you can start early. ^^
Love the look of this game. Have fun all Boot-campers. 🙂
Have lots of fun guys!!!
The Dirty Harry Model looks cool, didn’t realise he was in the range
Looks like it is going to be really fun weekend!!
The “raw” wood buildings actually look quite good on the tables and actually almost look like they are meant to be like that. They almost look coppery in some was as well.
ROCKET BOOTS!
Interest levels rising – the objectives in the game sound interesting.
The new faction isn’t available at micro arts. Why?
Would love to win a starter, this game has lovely models and the rules are interesting.
Great looking tables guys!
Thanks to Micro Arts for thinking of us who are stuck behind a screen for the weekend 😉
Hmmm… content is a little thin.
I have loved the atmosphere of this game setting since I first saw it advertised here on Beast of War. I’ve wanted to buy it, but it would be an investment too far if I couldn’t get enough to demo it for my game club. I’m not afraid to say it, I would love to win the starter bundle so I could get the club into this game. The mechanics are amazing and I just can’t praise the miniatures enough.
One of these days guys, I’m going to make it over there for one of those Boot Camps.
would love to play on that board.
Great idea for Micro Arts to offer the discount this weekend! I can feel the arm starting to twist. I have always enjoyed the lets plays.
Definitely excited to see these live blogs. Wolsung has been on my radar for a while, I’m excited to see some demos and watch more about the game. Winning a starter bundle wouldn’t be half bad either. 🙂
Nice mechanic for Dirty Harry
