Like this sound of this a lot. The quick play time of ‘academy’ coupled with the customisation of your spellbook could mean some very fun and fast games!

AH! This looks fantastic as a family game as well as one for the gaming group!

This game has been on my radar for ages, but I haven’t taken th plunge yet. I love the customization, and the fact there is no random draw, which adds to the strategy of the game.

I’ve seen this on youtube (hello Reefy) now and then. It looks a fascinating game.

Mage Wars Academy is definitely more steam lined and is very addictive! Soon as you finish your first game you will want to play another, and another. Soon after you will want the expansions — really fun game I wish is was more well know so I could find other players to feed my addiction!

Sounds like my kind of game too tbh, although I don’t know anyone that has it. Will have to look up some Let’s Plays and check it out properly.

Hmmmm, no random draw. Don’t get me wrong, that can be fun, but sometimes it’s nice to not have to deal with that frustration.

I would love to try this with the family, i like the fact you have a bit of planning to get your spell book in order. I always take to long on my turn though, analysis paralysis!

It seems that people need to learn some tricks on public speaking and keeping their voice. I do wish they had some new concept art or something to show off but what they had still looked good.

This seems like a really unique take on a battle card game, would love to give it a try.

Here we are on the third and final day. It’s been a long weekend but for anyone who attended apparently a fun one. However, since it is the final day then it’s my last chance to shamelessly post as I’m going after either the 4Ground stuff or the Bushido stuff. I play Bushido here in the states. I teach it to whoever will listen, and I just try and represent it as it is. The best miniature game I’ve ever played.
