We're catching up with Dave as he talks through his plans for a linked game of Dropfleet and Dropzone Commander. We will have four boards of Dropfleet battling against one big board of Dropzone Commander run by Rasmus and Rob of the Drop Beasts!

Linked campaigns, I’m kind of skeptical, but I’d love for it to work!
My club/store has been interested in running a combined dropfleet / dropzone campaign. We’ve got a few fowk who own the games but none of us are hugely experienced with it or have played it much.
I’m kinda hoping that if the ‘Hawk Talon’ programme evolves a bit, my store/club could get in contact with one of them to help them run it.
Unleash hell.

What happens if one side decides to nuke the city from orbit? (as the rules are in the DFC book for real)

This is sort of why I am never as excited as other people for these sorts of cross over games. I like the idea of campaigns using both systems – so a successful dropfleet game leads to a scenario using dropzone or vice versa. Say an extraction mission for ground forces ahead of an enemy fleet arriving … just something that’s all about driving a narrative
