Thanks Gerry
Looks interesting, the deployment mechanism sounds similar to Chain of Command.
I for one would like to see more of ‘Chash of Spears’ covered on OTT.
It has my interest.
You’re in luck then
Koenig Krieg used this deployment mechanism.
sounds like a great sub game for scout forces to make changes in a army battle game?
This game sounds interesting.
Once again I am hearing good things about this game.
I got two friends who tried, and they loved it.
It seems fast and easy to learn, but it is also well structured and though. Or at least that is what they told me.
If its half as good as they said it was, its gonna be fun.
Thanks for the update on this Historicon demo.
Dear avernos, if you have checked Warlord´s new SPQR game yet, is Clash Of Spears easier to pick up and would you, personally, say CoS is better or worse than SPQR, or are they so different they can´t be compared?
I’ll know about SPQR by Wednesday next week I haven’t seen enough yet to be able to say
Sounds like a teaser for future content!
so SPQR is easier to pick up and simpler to play, CoS is for me a more innovate game with command and control to think about and the ability to interrupt your opponent.
Between them both CoS is the system I would plump for.
lots of swords & sandals these days, bring it on.
I’d definitely be interested in seeing a full let’s play on the game sometime.
“Warband” sized but with a scouting phase. Nice touch, more please OTT!
I loved the cobblestone gaming mat.
