The Walking Dead Boot Camp – Sunday
Catching Up With The Mall Winner
We have a chat with Adrian and Ben from 4Ground about the Mall and how Adrian is going to use his winnings!
It's going to be donated to his local club, the Bristol Vanguard, and he might be able to fit in a few games using the models and rules from Evil Bear Wargames!
Donating to the club is a great idea, it is a thing to be enjoyed by many… not to mention I would and I am sure many others would have no where to store it 😀
That’s what it all comes down to in the end: having fun with palls, spending some good times together. And what better way to do it than in a club. So kudos to Adrian for donating his Mall, that’s a big financial present none the less.
If we wasn’t before this man will be quite popular at the club now!
I’m not complaining so far mate 😀 I hope this will make some games a bit more interesting
Great community spirit!
You know what, the theme of the weekend is board games becoming wargames, but I’d go the other way with the mall.
I would set up a gigantic, epic game of Last Night on earth in it, may need a few house rules and adjusting square sizes, but its perfect for the game.
we had conversation about it on boot camp with Ronnie from mantic and Ben from 4ground already 😀
is a good question will will you do with the mall if you have won it?
i think i will donate it to our local gamestore so that more people can play with it.
That’s really great of him to donate the table. Most people would just keep them to themselves, including myself 🙂
He’s awesome to have done that and it probably means he’ll get more games. Now I’m tempted to travel to Bristol. Think if I won I’d be donating too as my little house couldn’t take such a massive piece of awesomeness.
you are more than welcome mate I can give you demo game too 😀
Congratulation with the mall! I hope you and the mates at your club have a great time with it.
You can bet on it mate – thx !
What a lucky club.
its because is great club mate with fantastic people !
Well done Adrian for showing that gamers can be team players. It is not just the winning but taking part, having fun and having those memorable moments.
cheers mate and absolutely whats the point playing it only with my daughter and wife if so much more people can have great fun !
Thumbs up. Top idea. It must be great to make it though.
Good on you Adrian. That was a really nice move.
thx mate !
Everyone’s a winner
Top idea Adrian about donating it your club. I would use it for cyber punk style games and even Infinity.
thats what I added off camera 😀
AHHH! Bristol is just down the road! I am in Bath! It’s finally time to join a club me thinks 😉 get in on that mall action!
you are more than welcome and help me top build that beast 😀
Great donation to the club, lucky group of people!
If i had this Mall i would play Pulp City with it , Mars Attack with a little bit of house rules ,Malifaux in another dimension 😉 , Mercs 2.0 would really nice , and maybe Infinity but i am not sure if it will play well with it but i will try it just because is’t so nice lokking stuff , and the fact that the winner give it to is Club again it’s really generous but i understand that it’s a beast to built and this way he will be abble to play with it anyway so Good… Read more »
Respect to Adrian for sharing his good fortune. Not to mention you’ll have plenty of volunteers to assemble that monster and a place to store it. I can just imagine the reaction of anyone seeing it for the first time.
Donate your prize to a club, pop in to 4Ground HQ to pick it up. I love this industry!
That`s a very nice thing that Adrian`s done, i think his club`s gonna be blown away. They probable already know, and have a list as long as the great wall of china of games to play with the moll. Well done Adrian.
The games you could play other than the WD………Terrorist Attack……Gang War……Heist gone bad, just to name a few.
if i won my club would get it unless they did swapsies
I actually thought about what they discussed in the video and commented about on another vid from the live blog, where I would donate it my club, or attempt to live in it, you know as a small person…. having been shrunk… by science.
Lovely to hear Adrian plans to donate his. Really get a sense of great gaming community from all the videos.
That mall looks so cool
club donation is a spot on idea! such a good piece that it deserves to have a whole community enjoy using it.
exactly mate spread love! keep people enjoy game !
