We're talking with Michael about why he chose to play as the PHR this weekend for Dropfleet Commander. Of course there's some tactical thinking going on here but...

PHR all day long. I’m sure my dice rolling will soon tone down their power.
Ha… yeah.. dice can always undo a strategic advantage… or tactical advantage.. or just RAW advantage… lol.. the PHR are sweet looking ships… I’m looking forward to seeing some nice use of those open and flat hull areas for some nice designs as more people get the PHR painted up.

For me, PHR has the best aesthetic and remind me of HR Giger’s Aliens.
aesthetics is really great, but still Scourge looks more Gigerish for me =)

I would love to the main armour in matte black with a dark red stripe down each side, the under armour as a dark grey with slight white highlights and the lighted areas with dark greens and blues.
Interesting, share some pictures if you ever do paint them like that, I’d love to see them.
Man the PHR ships are the bees knees. Great sculpts and faction design plus tough as nails with tons of firepower on the tabletop. I love the adjustable manoeuvre fins.
Yeah, they are very nice, they look much better in the flesh. Dave has done a great job on them.

PHR is my choice too, I love the aesthetic, so many painting options for that.

I loooooove the PHR’s aesthetic over all others, though UCM are a close second!
I think the PHR ships kinda look like guppies. I like their background, but I think I would find making use of their broadside attack challenging.
I’m gonna try an ALIENS theme on my PHR fleet.

PHR where my first choice in dropzone. Purely for the looks. Ended up with ucm, but I don’t doubt there will be a phr force in the future, with matching fleet.

I love the background for the PHR and the models look great. The only thing putting me off is the fact that they work best when you can position them to get both broadsides off. I used to play Battle Fleet Gothic with the Imperial fleet which was supposed to work in the same way and I could never pull it off.
Assembling some PHR this evening, gonna see how much I can magnet!
im still making my mind up on PHR colour scheme, all i know is it will not be white or shade thereof
There is someone living up to Warren’s catchphrase – ‘Fortune favours the brave.’ I love the PHR ships – they are gorgeous. OK – to do their best they need to get into the thick of it but at that point the opposition need fresh underwear…
I love the look of the PHR, both in dropfleet and dropzone. The Giger alien comparison is a good one, hadn’t thought of that.
