We're talking with Adam about just why he chose Shaltari as his fleet for Dropfleet Commander.
I think it had something to do with them looking beautiful alien...and a little like space hedgehogs. Cannot.Unsee.

They are the same color as Sonic. I guess that’s not a coincidence.
Shaltari are beautifully alien! Thats why I am adding them to my Shaltari DZC. Never enough beauty in the display cabinets
Huh. Blue is not something I ever considered but that actually looks pretty freakin’ ace! I think I know what colour my Shaltari will be!

I think despite owning UCM and Scourge from the starter box, I might pick up a Shaltari starter set as well, and I like them more than scourge, and I enjoy playing a longer range faction.
Definitely come back and either get another video up or at least some pictures when Adam is done. I am curious to see what he can accomplish while at the boot camp.

Shaltari are an interesting faction, just not as high a priority as the other 3 for me.
I’ve not gone through their stats in detail yet, but those particle weapons look damned nasty. Gonna be fighting them soon enough though.
Got to admit they’re looking damn good :-). Glass hammer springs to mind with shaltari but that list looks more like a class mace! Witch King size flail!!! The cap is tipped sir 🙂

nice idea on the color scheme but its a faction that didnt jump out at me like the PHR, UCM and scourge did.

It is intriguing to hear someone who may be playing Shaltari against how most opponents would anticipate them to operate. Worth watching. I like the palette he outlined for his fleet.
