It’s hard to keep up with the pace here 🙂
The M113 is an icon for me when it comes to APC’s

I haven’t watched the video yet (crap phone).

What’s the plastic like? Could these be easily converted for sci fi games?

Cheers.

This is the only box that I fill they need to do a box of 10, In Nam you need a truck full to build a army.

they are looking more & more like a 20K Rhino, a well detailed kit to make by the looks of it.

If I recall, that extra turret weapon is the flamethrower one for Vietman…I recall it from an old unboxing video. Looking forward to seeing some more modern APC’s and IFV’s or whatever they are designated as. 😛

I agree with @crazyredcoat it certainly looks like the gun part of the M113 Zippo turret. That set of sprues looks like the Vietnam one, have they changed anything?

That was of course the M132 Zippo not M113 Zippo.

Thanks, guys. That one indeed had all of us stumped for a second there. I was about to spout off some silliness about communications gear on some kind of command variant.

Augh!! I hope @johnlyons is not laughing at me right now!!!

Great model, one of my favourite versions has to be the mortar carrier. BTW the kinda hatch is the base plate for the mortar if someone decides to bring it out of the m113.

its a good kit – lots of options for builds. how many of these options are useful for TY though?

It’s the same kit as in TOD and AIW pity the reviewers didn’t do any home work about it before hand.

I was not really interested in this model at first. But after seeing all the options available I am more inclined to include some in my list.

The options in team Yankee are – .50 cal AA gun, the rest are for Nam and AIW

Love the detail on this kit. It’s making it harder to chose between USSR and USA

Nice model…. I’ve started Cold War in 20mm but I’m now really tempted to switch down to 15mm after seeing some of these kits.
