Boot Camp Members Hard At Work

The Boot Campers have arrived and are now getting stuck into their armies. We have a nice mix of the British and the Germans to play around with, and a few extras here and there.

We'll be following up with not only John & Justin (who are building opposing armies) but also some of the Boot Campers to find out how their selection is going.

Some bootcamp regulars there. One day the planets will align and I’ll get to one.

I really wanted to get to this bootcamp, but the Finance Gods had other plans.

Hard to get across the pond for something like this (though I’d jump at the chance given the opportunity). Thanks for blogging this out to the rest of us so we can get something out of it at least, though!

Always fun building new armies.

Is the plastic the same colour for the Germans and British or is there a slight variance so they can be told apart from each other before painting?

They are a different colour. The British are a cream and the Germans are a tan colour

it’s hard work, you don’t get a lot of time

Brits are yellow and DAK are a sandy colour

I’m sure that I’m not the only one sat at their PC getting a bit envious. Would love to be able to afford to get to a bootcamp at some point. Have fun ladies and gents.

With the new dropping prices of tickets from the US, I hope to make it out to one of these bootcamps some day. They look like a great time.

The click and clack of cutters liberating armour from the sprues… look at the concentration on those faces 🙂

It must be such a thrill putting this stuff together while knowing you are going to get some games in shortly. Normally when you buy minis, you are wondering when you will get to ever put them on the table

Very cool that they went with plastic the basic colors of the armies, is that a way to get armies on the tables faster so you can play without painting at the start? Love the models I am seeing!
