As we were getting packed up Justin managed to catch a final interview from the Con with the team from Weta Workshop about GKR Heavy Hitters and their new game District 9.
Weta makes awesome stuff. One of the first places I go to at SDCC.
Well District 9 sounds quite interesting.
If District 9 is a minis game will it be like the movie? Which I thought was brilliant and would love big bug men verses the humans.
district 9 yes but only if its a game where like in a dungeon crawler you have to find certain forbidden objects and weapons, digging thru the slum. But unlike a dungeon crawler you are not supposed to kill the shrimp, you can but there is a penalty. and of course you can lure them in with cat food !!!
They hear the cries of “encore!” and find time for one more curtain call!
Unexpected but probably going to be gorgeous.
I WISH I coulda afforded to get into the GKR Kickstarter!
GKR didnt peak my interest, but did someone say District 9?
Yea district 9 was not one of my favorite movies but is quite interesting the setting of the alien landing peacefully.. curious about it.
Didn’t jump on kickstarter for this one, but might pick it up when it comes out for retail.
