Khorne berserkers have nothing on these guys 😛
I ummed and arrred between the Soviets and the Japanese about a month or two ago and went Soviets, maybe Japs will be next.
the sniper team is looking good! would be interesting to see how the Japanese army does against all the others! and why should the Japanese capture a tiger 2 weren’t the germans and japanese allies…..;)
I would say that given a choice and Jingles’ Salt Mines – I would choose slaving away in the Beasts of War plastic soldier factory. 😉
The Japanese sound awesome
Here’s the interesting quandry though – obviously a game is just a game and anything goes – but why hold the Japanese player to not selecting better tanks if you’re going to allow him to take part in operation Market Garden against the Germans; or fight in North Africa against Patton? Part of the reason I won’t start a Chindit army is because I could only feasibly fight japanese opponents in realistic scenarios – I mean, yes, I could play any army against anything and that has it’s attraction, but part of the bolt action appeal is the historicity… I’m… Read more »
These Japenese might fare the best charging across the bridge table
sigh. I play the Italians. I like the punishment I suppose
They look great but I still favour the U.S marines if I get into the Pacific Theatre.
Did not the Japanese suffer massive casualties when charging allied machine gun positions with their bayonets?
surprisingly effective charging almost anything even my inexperienced troops managed to fight off loads of veterans
Japanese, the Orks of WWII.
well another reason to start bolt action
The wife’s choice of faction here, devastating if you let them close in.
It’s going to be interesting to see whether over the weekend different armies from different faces are going to have to fight each other.
Never played with or against Japanese yet
LOL Alessio trying to correct @Warzan on pronunciation is a losing battle!
Mini of the officer with katana is amazing!
Thanks, though that kit almost builds itself! Very dynamic figures 🙂
Huh.
So after hearing some of the other tid bits, if you give the Japanese flame-throwers then they will be nearly impossible to stop.
They sound pretty cool. Charge for effect!
island fighting sound cool ! bunker, jungles, and japanese
Not a bad army at all. One of the better units being the grenadier squads with two light mortars per squad.
I would really consider doing some pacific forces now. Just got to make all new terrain :/
Only one word on the Japanese – Banzai!
I can’t be the only one who would pick a Japanese force because of a love of Godzilla movies.
Does anyone know if they have a rule that takes into account their “fight to the last man” mentality?
