You do sometimes get these kinds of painful competition/benefit symbiosis between companies.
It would seem so. This is big news, I’d say. If FFG can transfer the best elements of board gaming onto the tabletop we could see something slick and playable…just like X-Wing.
I wonder what the models are made from. Some wonky weapons suggest these might not be hard plastic. Totally speculating, though.

Anyone know if the runebound minis will be pre-painted and if not, will they be one piece?
They will not be preprinted and come in 2-3 pieces to assemble.

@lordbob – The press release / news page on their website specifically says they’re not pre-paints and that while it’s fine to use unpainted miniatures, one of the features of the game is painting and personalising your army.
