Battle Report - The Hungarian Border Conflict (Turn Four)

The Soviets and the US have rolled into each other and despite some destruction from the Soviets, as the tanks and AA tried to hold them back, we've had some big successes on the US side.

The US managed to bring down FIVE HINDs and then bought in some reinforcements which have been pounding the Soviet tanks and forcing them to think again with their strategy.

Cobras have hunkered down and will be surprising the enemy as they pop up from behind the fuel tanks. Meanwhile the Abrams pick off a few of the forces in the open.

The game stands on a knife edge as the battle lines get incredibly close.

That command M113 looks fantastic! I fear the Soviets are going to win.

I love one of the pictures with the border post in the foreground with the flags of Lloydoslavia flying away and right in the background there is a Coke-cola sign in the sky. Is this a potent?

Comrades! Remember, Comrade Lloyd stands behind you with his gun loaded ready to take up the fight against the warmongering imperialist invaders! Do your duty and stand firm! Defend the sacred motherland!

For Lloyd! For Lloydoslavia!

Hinds are just too big for their own good it seems so they take a lot of fire

I have noticed in a lot of the battle pics those hinds seem to be everywhere whereas the Cobras are often hanging back. Based on the accounts of the players it seems this is the dominating play style due to each units strengths/weaknesses and numbers fielded.

Is that zvezda models in there?

The Hinds A/T missiles also have shorter range, so it makes sense that the longer ranged Cobra’s hang back and play to their strengths.
