Bolt Action Boot Camp: Saturday
Battle Report: British Vs Japanese Round One
It's time for a Battle Report as the Boot Camp recruits get stuck into their second game. Once again we head to the airfield table, where Ryan's (Ryanpowe2587) British are facing off against Philip's (Rahmich) Japanese in a 700pt Top Secret scenario game.
The first activation went to the Japanese and Philip used it to run his suicidal anti-tank spearman into cover. The Brits got their chance soon after and Ryan's forward observer called back for an artillery barrage to come in next turn.
A slew of Japanese activations quickly followed, with Philip moving his veteran riflemen squad and command unit into a bunker, before firing at the Brit's machine gun with his own machine gun team.
Unfortunately, he missed, and the Brits retaliated with shots from both their Cromwell and Bren Carrier aimed at the Japanese machine gun. Despite all these shots, none managed to hit and the rest of the round was spent moving troops into position.
Good looking tank. Do the Japanish also have one? What is the objective?
japanese have a cardboard box on tracks, with a howitzer instead of a gun, but the MMGs were quite effective
C’mon Ryan sort it out! 🙂
I take it theres 2 jap armies as sven was in the other videos and here its phillip?
yeah i arrived late, was reading the “only jap army”on the train on the way lol
That Cromwell looks pretty sweet. Well done on that one.
So there was more than 1 person playing Japanese armies then
Philip arrived later.
It’s fitting, the Japanese joined the war later
Technically Japanese started in 1933 when they invaded manchuria
Battling it out among the famous Malaysian wheat and corn fields! Or are the Japanese attacking Blighty?
Great shot lol
Seriously….where can we get those pin markers (counters)????
I second that, where to get those pin markers?
Nice with a battle report!
The Jap in the guardhouse cracks me up
lol yeh, not so banzai hiding in there!
Nice paintjobs and the tanks look so sweet.
Looks good. Nice coverage guys
Those must be some sharp spears to take out a tank! And another reason why the Japanese armies feel a lot different to the European theatre forces.
Nice to see some Pacific theatre troops in a ww2 game.
Great looking painting
nice pin markers
nice pictures guys!
Great job painting those Japanese, especially if you got there late.
