Armies On Parade #4
Here we have another of the armies on parade, this time focusing in on the Undead from Waiqar. This is done with a ghostly theme which brings together a fantastic look for these shade-like Undead.
If you're looking to do an awesome set of miniatures quickly this would make for a fantastic army.
cool minis,
Reminds me of the Dead Men of Dunharrow from LotR. Good work!
Nice looking army, well tied together. That big worm really catch the eye!
i LOVE this scheme for the crawler, maybe a bit more love for the hero’s mound and a bit of basing?
Wow.
I like the monochrome look. very different!
nice work. I use do this green glow effect with white primer first > Tamiya clear green paint as base/shade > and then I would highlight with Fluo green from game colour or model colour variant . I often use this method to paint my space marine pilots to give them a night vision cockpit glow effect.
That color really works. Not as much an ethereal as a decrepit feel
Looks nice. Personally I would get bored with this scheme from a hobby perspective. But from a gaming perspective they will look great on the table.
very cool. love it
wow that big nasty looks amazing
The big one really pops out!
Nice
Beautiful
Green glow is nice, and the Giant worm WOW
Very nice.
These great painted armies just keep coming.
Soo simple soo cool
Cool more of the good guys. Nice job!
Cool
Nice a effect.
The glossy black carapace/armor plates on the carrion worm contrasts so beautifully to the sickly pale fleshy bits and makes that model stand out as the centerpiece that it is. Nice job!
and i thought the last one looked a bit ghostly …this one is stunning.
maybe i steal this idea for myself, but give it a twist into blue … just like theroman ghosts in the twelve tasks of asterix.
This takes that whole ethereal look to another level. Brilliantly done and I like the way the carrion worm seems to be the only truly solid foe to face, really makes it stand out as a centre piece. Awesome work!
It’s a great effect when you keep skellys simple, they can look even more ethereal.
