Come and take a look at some of the armies that we've been working on for the world of RuneWars as part of this Hobby Weekend.
This is one of the green Daqan forces that looks fantastic, mixing some of the tried and tested Army Painter techniques with some additional awesomeness thrown in for good measure.

I like how most of the armor is silver on these. The little bit of green is enough to flavor it without the really bright color everywhere. I think I like that more.
Amazing what you can achieve in a weekend, I’ve built 10 samurai/ashigaru. Hangs head in shame.

Got to BOW about lunch time on Friday, the models went together so quick that we were priming within about an hour and a half. And the guys from army painter were a fountain of knowledge( use primer to do most of the work and the apply accents) that the basic paint job was done by eight and the quick shade applied and let dry overnight,and left to cure for the next six hours,giving enough time to think out the runes and bases and the second army scheme.
